What?

The Organization’s first projects will be in Enugu State,
Nigeria. This is where Megalyn’s father was born and
raised. Our first step in every community is to do a
needs assessment that determines how we can assist
and support the women and girls in that community with the
resources that we have. This assessment is not dictated by
us, or our ideals but decided and driven by the community in
which we work. Project by project and community by
community W.E.A.P.O.N will create partnerships with local
leaders, art centers, schools, and existing organizations, to
develop and provide funding for specific arts and education
projects designed to empower and support the women and
girls in that community. These projects are developed by
listening and learning about the wants of the women in
each community in order to ensure the projects
are continuously evolving.
